Best pilates studio in the north. Great variety of classes and the trainers are nice and friendly. The classes are always a good challenge, with options provided for different levels of difficulty so you can progress as you get stronger and more flexible.

I love Strongroom. It’s challenging but a supportive environment. The classes are small and all of the instructors are lovely…but not so lovely while making you do wheelbarrow holds or side leg exercises 😂 There is a Pilates studio at the end of my street, and I literally drive past it to go Strongroom. After going for a couple of months I feel stronger and more confident!

Great friendly and inclusive studio to do strength based pilates. I love the focus on weights and strength training, with a pilates grounding.
The trainers are very thoughtful, supportive and encouraging and always make sure to correct you if need be- to ensure you are getting the best results.

So thankful to all the amazing women at Strongroom! the guidance they give and the reinforcement and confidence they have instilled in everyone who attends this studio is like no other. i have wanted to try reformer pilates for so long but was always scared, not the fittest person and the machine intimidated me so much. but these gorgeous women make all the classes and wobbly legs worth it. They have built a community that is inclusive and safe and for that, i am so thankful! Mary, Tegan, Ivana (Yoshi who’s sunday classes i can never make but would love i’m sure) – just so much thank you!

I have been attending Strongroom since I was 6 weeks pregnant. I needed to take a few weeks off due to severe nausea, and on my return, I started working with Mary on Saturdays in the 4:1 class. I felt a bit nervous about beginning exercise again at 12 weeks pregnant, but Mary was incredibly supportive and challenged me (safely) to get to a point where I now feel really strong again. Mary informed the other instructors that I was pregnant, so that I felt confident to start attending other classes throughout the week and that I would be supported. I was also really impressed that I was still encouraged to attend group classes after hitting my 20th week of pregnancy, which sets Strongroom apart from a lot of other studios in the area. Some exercises the instructors adapt for me or ask me not to do (due to safety), but they always help me with an alternative. I’m now 25 weeks pregnant and still going strong. I highly recommend Strongroom to any ladies looking to keep fit and strong during their pregnancy in a safe and supportive environment.

I’ve been coming to this awesome & well maintained studio since it first opened its doors a year ago. The staff are always friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive. They cater from beginners to advanced with their variety of classes, and although the classes can be challenging (in the best possible way), it’s what keeps me coming back. Highly recommend for anyone looking to improve their strength, flexibility, and overall well-being in a supportive and welcoming environment.

I’m and experienced Pilates practitioner, and I was drawn to Strong Room because it set itself apart as focusing on strength; that sounded just up my alley. It definitely lived up to the claim. The instructor planned a spicy and challenging class with layers for all the participants to pursue. The integration of the whole body in some exercises as well as focusing on certain areas of control, balance and mobility made it a very sweaty and satisfying workout with all my favourite elements of reformer included. Her energy was so positive and encouraging that it made you fell like you could really do your best. She really empowered us to push ourselves. The exercises were fun and challenging, but definitely accessible. I will be feeling my quads tomorrow. Thanks!
