Why STRONGROOM?
I started STRONGROOM knowing that so many amazing people feel lost or out of place in traditional gyms. After almost 10 years of teaching Pilates, I’ve seen first hand how powerful movement can be, not just physically, but mentally too. I absolutely fell in love with Pilates, the way it helps us reconnect with our bodies, feel stronger, and build confidence from the inside out. I wanted to create a space that feels personal, welcoming, and real. A place where you’re not just a number or trying to keep up with the crowd, but where you’re seen, supported, and celebrated.
STRONGROOM is a studio where reformer Pilates and strength come together to give you the best of both worlds.
You’ll never feel like you have to ‘fit in’, you already do!
Whether you’re brand new to movement or ready to take your strength to the next level, we’re here to support you.
This isn’t just about fitness. It’s about feeling better in your body, your mind, and your life. You’ll be guided by a friendly, knowledgeable team who genuinely care, and you’ll be part of a community that cheers each other on every step of the way.
You don’t have to do it alone. We’ve got you.

Why Pilates?
Pilates is one of the best ways to build strength, improve posture, and feel good in your body, without punishing workouts or high-impact moves. It’s low-impact but powerful, helping to ease stiffness, support your joints, reduce back pain, and boost energy.
If you’re tired, tight, or just feel like your body isn’t moving the way it used to, Pilates can help. It strengthens your core, improves balance and flexibility, and helps you move with more control and confidence. Whether you’re lifting kids, working at a desk, or getting back into exercise.
At STRONGROOM, we combine Pilates with strength to give you the best of both worlds. Our classes are designed to meet you where you’re at, no matter your experience.
If you’ve been searching for Pilates in Reservoir, core strength workouts, or Pilates for back pain, STRONGROOM is your spot. Small classes, expert instructors, and a friendly community mean you’ll always feel supported and never feel out of place.

Why Strength?
We start to lose muscle mass from around age 30 (we can lose 3 to 8% of muscle mass per decade!), and after 40, it happens even faster if we don’t actively work to maintain it. Add in hormonal changes like menopause, strength becomes more than just “a nice-to-have” it’s essential for long-term health.
Strength training helps build muscle, boost metabolism, increase bone density, and protect your joints. It’s one of the best ways to feel stronger, move better, and reduce our risk of injuries as we age. It also supports mood, sleep, and energy, all things that can feel out of balance during perimenopause and beyond.
But here’s the thing, strength doesn’t have to mean lifting heavy weights or smashing yourself in a gym.
That’s why we created Strong Reformer. The first half of class focuses on building strength with weights in a safe, supportive way. Then we move to the reformer for Pilates. It’s the best of both worlds, all in one class.
If you’ve been Googling strength training for women over 40, Pilates and weights, or bone health exercises, this is your sign to start.
You don’t have to go full-on, just start. We’ll guide you every step of the way.

Why Cardio?
Cardio gets a bad rap. A lot of people think it means long runs, punishing workouts, or feeling wrecked at the end. But it doesn’t have to be that way.
From our 40s onward, cardio plays a vital role in supporting heart health, improving circulation, boosting brain function, and balancing hormones. It can help lower blood pressure, manage cholesterol, improve sleep, and reduce the risk of chronic conditions like type 2 diabetes and osteoporosis. It also lifts our mood and helps reduce anxiety and stress, all of which become especially important during perimenopause and menopause.
At STRONGROOM, we take a smarter, more fun approach to cardio. You don’t need to run, jump, or push through something you dread. Our Athletic Reformer class delivers all the benefits of cardio fitness in a way that’s low-impact, high-energy, and actually fun.
You’ll move through two circuits of four exercises, three on the Reformer and one off, designed to keep your heart rate up while building stamina. It’s fast-paced and sweaty, but in the best way. You’ll leave feeling lighter, clearer, and full of energy.
If you’ve ever said, “I hate cardio,” this might just change your mind.
